Our Zanesville, OH Dentist Cares About the Community

It’s no exaggeration to say that Dr. Charles Hawkins is a hometown hero. He’s got awards from the Muskingum Valley American Red Cross to prove it! In 2016, the organization gave him a Healthcare Hero award for saving a man’s life using a tourniquet. He also received the same award a few years earlier for saving a man by performing CPR. Dr. Hawkins even shared top billing with Santa Claus in the 2017 Storybook Christmas Parade after being named Grand Marshal of the event by The Zanesville South Business Association.

Dr. Charles Hawkins on how Hawkins Complete Dental Service is involved in the community

Every other year, Dr. Hawkins offers free dental cleanings, tooth fillings, and tooth extractions at our Zanesville, OH dentist office to people who cannot afford this basic dental care. He also sells breast cancer awareness T-shirts to patients every autumn, with proceeds going to the Genesis Breast Care Center. He donates toothbrushes to Foxfire High School and often donates dental services such as teeth whitening treatments for fundraisers at other local schools as well as for veterans.
