Meet Dr. Amarpeet Suri

Meet Dr. Amarpeet Suri in Zanesville, OH Dentist

After completing her formal dental education at the New York University College of Dentistry, Dr. Suri began a general residency program at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, New Jersey. It felt wonderful to be back in her home state after four years in the Big Apple. Throughout the residency, Dr. Suri began to develop a vision of the type of dental practice she wanted to be a part of as she entered the next chapter of her career. Dr. Suri first met Dr. Friedman during her residency as he was an attending at the program. She worked closely on several cases with him and even had the opportunity to learn sedation techniques from him. After spending some time at the office, Dr. Suri knew it reflected the vision she had of her dream practice. When Dr. Friedman asked if Dr. Suri would like to join the Newman Springs Dental Care team, the answer was clear. She had found the practice she could call home.

Dr. Suri quickly found that even Dr. Friedman’s patients felt this was their home away from home. Many patients had been coming for years and were now bringing their children and grandchildren! What she admires most are the core values of the practice. The entire team reflects Dr. Friedman’s priority of putting the patient first and providing optimal care. The relationships he has developed with his patients over the years are a testament to his approach. Dr. Suri has been thankful to have another amazing mentor at NSDC – Dr. Aparna Menon – who mirrors those same core values and guides her to do the same.

Dr. Suri has been with the practice since the summer of 2018 and has had time to develop her own meaningful relationships with our patients. Her patients and the care she can provide is the most important aspect of being in the healthcare field. Being a part of this practice has given Dr. Suri the opportunity to give back to the community in this year’s Dentistry From The Heart (DFTH). She noticed that many patients initially came to DFTH for a toothache remedy or cleaning. Once they experienced the warmth with which they were treated, they too made Newman Springs Dental Care their dental home. Dr. Suri will be sure to be a part of this selfless cause for years to come.

Dr. Suri loves learning new techniques and applying them in practice. It is important to her to stay on the forefront of her field so she can provide the best to those who trust her with their care. Her most recent pursuit was a two-year residency in surgical and restorative implantology at New York University’s Rosenthal Institute, which has a continuing education program. Dr. Suri also dedicates one or two weekends a month to providing dental care to the Army at Sea Girt and Fort Dix. It is her small way of giving back to those who sacrifice so much for us.

Dr. Suri married her high school sweetheart, Dr. Tarandeep Singh, on September 8, 2018. After a beautiful 11 years together, which included them both graduating dental school and completing general practice residencies, they tied the knot right here in Somerset, New Jersey. After such a long, studious journey, they knew they wanted to go somewhere incredible for their honeymoon, so they spent two weeks on an island in the Maldives. They snorkeled with sharks, turtles, and even dolphins! It was absolutely stunning and definitely a memory they will cherish for years to come.

Dr. Suri is very grateful to Dr. Friedman, Dr. Menon, and the entire team at Newman Springs Dental Care as well as the patients! The transition into the practice has been seamless, and Dr. Suri is looking forward to all the growth that awaits. She is looking forward to creating lifelong relationships with the wonderful patients in our practice that she now calls home.
